Increased performance
Agility.
The engine portfolio for the all-new G-Class is fully electrified. The all-new G 63 also offers optimum power delivery as a mild hybrid. The electrification of the drive also has the effect of reducing fuel consumption. In combination with the integrated starter-generator (ISG) and 48-volt on-board electrical system, the AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine delivers 430 (+15 kW) and provides a maximum torque of up to 850 (+200 Nm).
With the optional AMG Performance Package, the all-new Mercedes-AMG G 63 accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. Top speed is reached at 240 km/h.
The optional AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL Suspension with active hydraulic roll stabilisation significantly contributes to the agile driving feel and enhanced comfort. The system enables optimal turn-in and load change behaviour, thereby characterising typical AMG handling in terms of dynamics, precision and feedback. It also increases driving comfort when driving straight ahead and over bumps.
In the off-road driving programmes, the axle articulation can be maximised to maintain the vehicle’s ground contact and traction. This significantly improves the vehicle’s off-road performance and off-road levelling.

Additional driving modes
Off-road driving.
With the AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL Suspension and the AMG Offroad Package PRO, two additional driving modes are available for the all-new G 63.
AMG Traction PRO can generate maximum traction depending on the road surface thanks to the wheel-selective braking torque control. It is possible to activate or deactivate AMG Traction PRO in the “Rock” and “Sand” off-road driving programmes as well as in activated LOW RANGE mode. In addition, the degree of locking of the electronically controlled transverse lock can be set in any of seven different grades depending on the situation.
AMG Active Balance Control makes it possible to adjust the roll stiffness in all off-road driving programmes (Trail, Rock, Sand) in three grades from low (LOW) to rigid (HIGH). The vehicle’s body control, ground contact and traction can thus be significantly improved when driving off-road.

Design elements
Unique.
Both inside and out, distinctive design elements give the all-new Mercedes-AMG G 63 its unique appearance. The front is characterised by a striking AMG-specific bumper with three vertical louvres in front of the air intakes. The AMG crest is emblazoned on the bonnet. The AMG crest in the exterior mirror projection and the AMG fuel filler cap in silver chrome are also part of the standard equipment.
In addition, the latest generation of the AMG Performance three-twin-spoke steering wheel with AMG steering wheel buttons comes as standard. The MBUX infotainment system in the all-new G 63 has AMG-specific functions and displays for the instrument cluster and the central display.
The MANUFAKTUR hyper blue magno paint colour is available exclusively for Mercedes-AMG models — and is now also available for the all-new G 63.

Carbon elements
AMG-Typical.
The optional AMG Exterior Carbon Fibre package is also available for the first time. It includes the AMG-specific radiator trim in dark chrome, mirror caps and inserts in the exterior protective moulding in carbon design, the spare wheel cover in carbon, the inserts in the front and rear bumpers in carbon as well as the front and rear optical underride guard in carbon.
Other components include a spare wheel ring in black magno/metallic as well as darkened indicator and headlight housings at the front and rear.
The all-new Mercedes-AMG G 63 also benefits from other cross-model innovations and features. It has new A-pillar panelling, a spoiler lip on the roof trim and new insulation materials. All of this contributes to improved aerodynamics and greater noise comfort.
The Burmester® 3D surround sound system also brings the immersive Dolby Atmos® audio experience to the all-new G 63, while additional and enhanced safety and assistance systems round off its overall presence.
In addition, the optional integration of KEYLESS-GO in the distinctive door handles enables easy access to the car — without using the key. In the interior, temperature-controlled cup holders, a wireless charging system for mobile devices and the optional MBUX High-End Rear-Seat Entertainment system contribute to increased comfort. The optionally available “transparent bonnet” also provides support when driving off-road. It enables a virtual view under the front of the vehicle. Extensive customisation options from the extended MANUFAKTUR range are also available.
